USB Type-C在未来将会取代现有的Micro-USB（USB2.0）的连接方式，成为重要的USB连接方式。onsemi可以提供完整的USB Type-C和完整的USB PD的方案。
以下是USB Type-C and USB PD的完整拓扑：
Typc-Controller(FUSB302)：相当于USB Type C的PHY芯片，MCU通过IIC配置该芯片从而实现USB Type C协议的通讯
在Type C接口，由于Type-C的接口对称性，并且USB 3.0以下通信过程都仅能使能RX1TX1或者RX2TX2，因此就会需要一个接口转换芯片做开关切换。
除此之外，因为Type-C接口会需要会传高速信号和传输电能，因此加入相关的ESD保护器件，可以提高整个Type-C接口的可靠性和稳定性。
